2009 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Kick Offs in Reno - Nov 18, and Las Vegas - Nov 19
Next May, 1,600 of the world’s elite high school students will descend on Nevada and the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Help us celebrate this tremendous opportunity to highlight the importance of science and math education for the entire state of Nevada and what it means for our future leaders and statewide workforce. The event will bring 6,000 visitors and international media attention to our state.

The 2009 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair will be hosted by Gathering Genius (G²), a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 to increase interest, excellence and competitiveness of Nevada students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. Steve Wells, president of G² and Desert Research Institute, will be on hand at next week’s celebrations along with members of the G² Board and Advisory Committee.
