2009 Intel International Science Fair Judge Opportunity

You are offered the opportunity to serve as a judge during the 2009 Intel International Science Fair on May 10 – 15, 2009, to be held in Reno. The "judges" committee is in need of 6-8 additional judges. The request has been made for: science related faculty, business and community leaders, attorneys, local entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investment bankers, graduate students etc. The time commitment will be 8 am to 5 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Judges may choose to preview the exhibits on Tuesday May 12th. Please find an overview of the event below.

The volunteer judges are invited to attend an optional, complementary dinner on May 13th as well.

Science Fair Overview

The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance fosters invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship in higher education as a way of creating innovative, commercially viable, and socially beneficial businesses and employment opportunities in the United States. The program was founded on the premise that invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship are essential components of the higher education curriculum and vital to the nation’s economic future.

The NCIIA works with colleges and universities to build collaborative experiential learning programs that help nurture a new generation of innovators and entrepreneurs with strong technical and business skills and the tools and intention to make the world a better place.
