3G Studios Inc. expands offices in downtown Reno

3G Studios Inc., an independent video game development studio, has expanded its offices and design studio in Basin Street Properties’ 300 E. Second St. facility, adjacent to Aces Ballpark. 3G Studios will go from occupying 6,800 square feet to taking 9,540 square feet of space in the 136,497-square-foot building.image

3G Studios Inc. designs and develops interactive entertainment products for personal computers, next generation consoles, iPhone, mobile and handheld devices. They recently launched the company’s first-ever Facebook game, Brave Arms. 3G Studio, Inc.’s published works include "Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009," a collaboration with Harmonix to release "Rock Band" in 2007, "SWAT: Target Liberty" for the Play Station Portable released in 2007, and "Stacked with Daniel Negreanu" released in 2006.

The Top Five Cybersecurity Predictions

Cybersecurity is an evolving creature. Ten years ago the vast majority of threats encountered by users online were motivated by fame and disruption. Today it is all about stealth and exploiting computer users to make a buck. Predicting future cybersecurity trends can be difficult. But by gathering data and analyzing developments past and present, patterns begin to emerge and we are able to make forecasts for the future. Chamber’s Viva Las Business blitz aims to help small ventures

Small-business owners are applauding the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s newest push to save struggling companies.

The chamber recently unveiled a series of programs designed to help recession-battered small businesses.

The Viva Las Business: Vegas is Coming Back campaign aims to unify local groups in economic recovery efforts, chamber President and CEO Matt Crosson said during a news conference Sept. 13 at the chamber’s headquarters.
