Somer Hollingsworth
Somer Hollingsworth has been a resident of the Las Vegas area since 1953. His life began with a childhood in Texas and graduation from Eastern New Mexico University, 1967, Bachelors in Business Administration and then graduated in 1979 from the Pacific Coast School of Banking in Washington.Mr. Hollingsworth developed a lifetime career in the banking industry within several local banking institutions. Mr. Hollingsworth’s banking path ranged from teller to President and Chief Executive Officer. In 1995, Mr. Hollingsworth opened his own consulting firm which lead to his involvement and acceptance of the position of President and Chief Executive Officer with the Nevada Development Authority. Growth, management, and direction of NDA to become the source in Southern Nevada for relocation/ expansions of companies highlight the responsibilities of Mr. Hollingsworth.
Mr. Hollingsworth is active on many boards throughout the Southern Nevada area, including:
- Governor’s Commission on Medical Education, Research and Training
- Greater Las Vegas Board of Realtors - Citizen of the Year
- Las Vegas Executive Association
- Nevada Council on Economic Education
- UNLV Career Advisory Council
- UNLV College of Business Advisory Board
- UNLV College of Engineering Advisory Committee

Mr. Hollingsworth enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and children.
