Guest Speaker:
Samuel G. Ingalls, A.A.E., Assistant Director of Aviation, Information Systems at McCarran International Airport
Samuel Ingalls has been with the administration at McCarran International Airport for the past 21 years, having worked to usher in many innovative systems throughout McCarran Airport.
In recognition of the success of one major McCarran project, Samuel was named a 1998 Computerworld Smithsonian Laureate for technological innovation in the transportation industry.
Samuel plays a leadership role in the industry, with work on behalf of Airports Council International (ACI), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Air Transport Association (ATA). In that regard, he is the chair of the Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS) initiative.
He writes frequently and speaks around the world on aviation information systems.
Samuel is also a frequent user of the aviation system on a personal basis, holding a commercial multi-engine pilot’s rating.
Master of Ceremonies: Kendall Tenney, KVBC Anchor
It’s easy to understand why kids’ issues are Kendall’s passion as he and his wife, Alyse, have five children.
Kendall joined Channel 3 in 1994 as a morning anchor and began anchoring the four and six pm newscasts five years later. Around that same time, Kendall started his series of reports called Kids First focusing on any and all things affecting children.
Kendall has been recognized for his work both on-air and in the community. Recently he was named of the “Vegas Dozen” and last year he won two Emmys. He also won two national awards from the National Education Writers’ Association.
Kendall currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada. He also hosts his annual Run-for-a-Wish on the day before the Super Bowl which this year, raised nearly $350,000.Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
