CALL FOR ENTRIES: UNLV INVITES COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN INAUGURAL SUSTAINABILITY EXHIBIT
The UNLV Marjorie Barrick Museum, in coordination with the Office of Urban Sustainability Initiatives, invites members of the Southern Nevada community to participate in a newly
developed exhibit series featuring community art and design related to sustainable practices in the Las Vegas Valley. Scheduled to open August 22, the Sustainability Exhibit will feature 20 mixed-media pieces focused on how the Las Vegas community envisions an environmentally, economically and socially sustainable future. Participants are encouraged to be innovative, but to give thought to remaining within the realm of possibility – economically, politically and technically. For more information, including complete specifications and submission criteria, please visit http://hrcweb.nevada.edu/museum or contact Aurore Giguet at (702) 895-1402.
