Nearly two years ago when a national economic development consultant surveyed the Greater Reno-Tahoe region, 61 percent of business owners and residents said that clean energy technology should be the No. 1 targeted industry for the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and regional partners to focus our “energy” on. So it should not have been a surprise when the first Nevada Clean Energy Summit attracted more than 600 attendees on a hot August Saturday last year. Read full story:
