Electronics recycler expands space, employment in Sparks
A global push for green office practices and a cornerstone government contract has spurred new business for international electronics recycler Global Investment Recovery, which recently purchased 80,000 square feet of industrial space at 725 Greg St.
Global Investment Recovery, which specializes in salvaging precious metals from outdated electronics and telecommunications equipment, occupied 55,000 square feet at Parr Boulevard for the past four years.
The expansion gives the company additional capacity for electronics recycling, says founder and Chief Executive Officer David Ritter.
