TMA NV Delivers Powerhouse Panel for Local Members – Feb 27

The Turnaround Management Association of Nevada promises a provocative and profitable evening for its members by presenting a, “Powerhouse Panel” of esteemed business professionals who will be discussing “Turnaround Opportunities in Today’s Economic Climate: A National and Local Perspective.” Our “Powerhouse Six” panelists will bring six different views on today’s national and local economy based upon their field of expertise, common to all will be their commentary on the financial short and long term outlook:

Dr. R. Keith Schwer, Director of The Center for Business and Economic Research and a member of the UNLV Economics Department faculty, will comment on market trends and augmentation of industry segments; Dr. William Eadington, Director of the Institute for the Study of Gambling and Commercial Gaming and Professor of Economics at UNR, will comment on the sustainability and growth of gaming and its direct and indirect impact on other industry segments; John Restrepo, Principal of the Restrepo Consulting Group, a consulting firm specializing in researching, analyzing and consulting on socio-economic trends on real estate development in the Southwest, will render his expertise on commercial and residential real estate development and its impact on allied industries; Bruce Hendricks, President of Bank of Nevada, a 37-year banking veteran, will comment on mortgage and business financing and new trends in the issuing and creating of credit instruments; Ted Burr, Principal of Sierra Consulting Group, a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor (CIRA), will comment on challenges and opportunities in corporate finance, restructuring and merger and acquisition trends. The sixth panelist, will come from the legal profession and comment on legal trends as a result of the economic climate.
