Geothermal energy gets $90 million federal offer
The federal government is making up to $90 million available over four years to industry and
academia for advancing the research and development of next-generation geothermal energy technology. The U.S. Department of Energy’s announcement on Wednesday was welcomed by officials in Nevada, one of the nation’s leading geothermal states holding vast underground reserves. Read more:
