Going Green Business
When Patagonia built its global distribution center in Reno more than a decade ago, the company searched far and wide for experts in sustainable building and design. Finally it
chose a Seattle architecture firm that brought in consultants from San Francisco, New York and London. Fast-forward to 2006 when Patagonia built a major addition certified by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
