  • Q & AAbout the Presenter(s):Rod Jorgensen is the Director of Counseling for the Nevada Small Business Development Center and has assisted over 8,000 clients in the northern Nevada area since the late 1980’s. Rod serves on multiple business plan review boards and has been teaching entrepreneurial education for more than a decade.

    Deborah Prout is the Executive Director for the Nevada Microenterprise Initiative (NMI) and assists people starting and expanding their businesses in areas of developing loan requests, troubleshooting their business, identifying local resources for business, and perfecting their business plan.

    Kathy Carrico (KC) is the State Training Director for the Nevada Small Business Development Center and has been instrumental in providing the popular NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs 13-week course to more than 1,200 people in more than 10 Nevada cities. Kathy works directly with many chambers of commerce and related non-profit agencies throughout the State assisting in training program development and presentations about small business resources and business planning.
