This panel of investors will focus on Early-Stage Venture Investing: How to meet Nevadas Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology | NCET is an independent award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by public contributions, sponsorships, program revenues and limited grants. NCET receives no funding from the State of Nevada.      Counseling and Business Resources  Instead of providing individual counseling to entrepreneurs and small businesses, NCET and its programs serve as a clearinghouse for the many public sector programs and private sector resources that provide free or low-cost services to people starting or growing a business.      Business Funding  NCET does not provide funding for businesses, and instead has developed a list of Nevada funding sources who provide equity funding for companies seeking funding.  Small businesses needing loans should contact your local US Small Business Administration office or the Nevada Microenterprise Initiative.investors, pitch them, and what it really takes to get them to write you a check! We will be discussing trends in Early-Stage Investing, hot sectors, sectors that these Angels and VCs look at, things that are most important to them when they are considering an Vegas Valley Angels | The Vegas Valley Angels is an angel investment organization established on March 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Through the initiative of the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada, four entrepreneurs in Las Vegas realized a need for an organization that will make quality investments on early and middle-stage companies in Southern Nevada. Thus, Mike Ballard, Mark Brennan, Scott Frost, and David LeGrand founded the Vegas Valley Angels. Since its inception, the group had accumulated fifty members and accomplished a total investment amounting to $8 million in twelve companies. It is also one of the seven prime angel groups from California, Utah, and Nevada that constitutes an alliance of angel groups in the western region. Investment, the best and worst things an entrepreneur can do to get their attention, additional advice for entrepreneurs, and, of course, the best ways to reach these and other Investors. There will be plenty of time for networking with the Investor panelists, both before the panel & after the panel at the Cocktail Party!
