Nevada ranks second in entrepreneurship friendliness
The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council ranked Nevada second for its business policy friendliness.
The 16th annual Small Business Survival Index, released on Dec. 7, measured how friendly states are for small businesses and entrepreneurs based on public policy decisions such as taxes, regulator costs, government spending, health care policies and energy costs.
The top five states are South Dakota, Nevada, Texas, Wyoming and South Carolina. Washington, D.C., ranked last.
