New resource emerges for minority business owners

Minority business owners in Nevada have a new place to turn when they need help or advice.

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and the U.S. Department of Commerce announced last week the opening of the new Nevada Minority Business Enterprise Center. The center will be run by Las Vegas-based New Venture Capital with a $218,250 federal grant.

The center will focus on training business owners and growing existing small minority-owned businesses in Nevada. It is located at 626 9th Street in Las Vegas. This is the second time a minority business development center has operated in Las Vegas. Read more:
