NNDA breakfast & NN regional Business & Tech Show – Sept 18
Northern Nevada Development Authority’s September member breakfast takes place as a kick off to the Northern Nevada Regional Business and Technology Show, September 18 from 8 – 9:45 a.m. at John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Sparks. 
The program brings together leaders from academics, business, community organizations and labor to promote economic growth in Greater Reno-Tahoe and includes panelists: Brad Goetsch, Churchill County Manager; K.C. Mares, President & Chief Energy Officer of MegaWatt Consulting; Mike Keesee, Project Manager, Energy Efficiency Customer R&D, Sacramento Municipal Utility District; and Dr. Chuck Levitan, Professor at Sierra Nevada
College. The program will be moderated by Bob Maxson, President of Sierra Nevada College.
Attendees will learn how to:
· Identify alternative ways in removing barriers to business
· Demonstrate how to increase employment in Northern Nevada
· Illustrate why businesses are thinking effective energy investments = savings
· Reveal new ways to improve your products, services and overall performance
· Provide emerging best practices
· Help to position your community for energy developments beyond LEED
· Explore net zero / intelligent development for businesses and buildings
· Help your company to be business-prepared for the transnational energy movement and the demands created by your clients and consumers
· Furnish direct network connections to effective energy-wise businesses with progressive capital resources!
Cost is $30 per person if pre-registered prior to Sept. 15 or $40 at the door or after Sept. 15. Price includes a full breakfast buffet.
