Reno Angels Announce Investment in InTUUN Systems

20080610_RenoAngles_Logo_v4.epsThe Reno Angels have announced the funding of InTUUN Systems, a Reno-based health care information technology and services provider. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Gregory Crawford, a member of the Reno Angels with a background in healthcare investing added, “InTUUN is addressing one of the critical areas of need in healthcare, using technology to improve patient care and cut costs. “The company is on the cutting edge of clinical integration in the United States.”

LOGO Cooperable health records“We have been extremely impressed by InTUUN’s business model and management team,” noted Pete Menicucci, the Reno Angels’ Vice-Chair and one of the deal’s lead investors. “InTUUN has gained a great deal of national traction with its recent selection by The ‘Independent/Integrated Physician Associations’ Association of America (TIPAAA) to be their exclusive provider of clinical integration solutions to their over six hundred IPA member organizations nationwide.”

“During our first year, the Reno Angels has evaluated numerous funding applications, “added Gary Foote, Reno Angels’ Chair. “InTUUN is the first of many companies in which we anticipate investing.”
