Reno inventor introduces new logic puzzle, AQube

Reno businessman and inventor David Gaskill has invented a challenging new logic puzzle called AQube. This unique product is a 3-dimensional jigsaw puzzle with interlocking pieces that join together to form a cube. “The assembled puzzle is about the size of a traditional Rubix cube, but the game is quite different,’ said Gaskill. “The 32 pieces come together in only one solution that could take anywhere between five minutes to five days to solve.”

Contained in a 3x3x3 box, the AQube boasts a compact, lightweight design. To complete the final product, Gaskill thought of everything.

“Since it won’t fit in its original box unless it’s in cube form, it even comes with a carrying sack if you can’t complete it on the first try.”

The idea for the AQube has been in Gaskill’s mind for several years. He finally decided to make his idea reality, and over the course of six months went from paper and pencil to the final product made out of plastic, produced right here in Reno. He has started a company called Reno Puzzle Company and plans to sell puzzles locally and internationally through the Internet.

The AQube is available to purchase for $24.99 online at www.renopuzzle.com. In the future, Gaskill plans to have other puzzles available on the website and hopes to be a resource for puzzle enthusiasts.
