RGJ’s Entrepreneur of the Year nominations open
The Reno Gazette-Journal, in partnership with the Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, is accepting nominations for the RGJ Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
The awards recognize the outstanding leaders at all levels of business, from small companies with fewer than five employees to large companies employing more than 20.
The nomination period runs through Feb. 12. The winners in four categories will be selected by a panel of judges that includes editors from the Gazette-Journal and RGJ.com and selected honorees from last year’s program.
The winners will be announced March 7 on RGJ.com and in the Reno Gazette-Journal.
The awards will be presented at the Awards Dinner on March 8, the kickoff to NCET’s Northern Nevada Entrepreneurship Week 2010.
There are four award categories:
* Small business: Less than five employees
* Medium business: Five to 20 employees
* Large business: More than 20 employees
* Best new entrepreneur: Companies formed in 2008 or later.
Nominations this year will be accepted through a Web-based entry form at rgj.com/entrepreneur. There you also will find contest details.
