SCORE plans survival workshop
A group of retired executives who provide free counseling to business owners is beginning to plan a workshop to help businesses owners learn how to survive the recession.
The Service Corps of Retired Executives, better known as SCORE, hopes to enlist other educational and nonprofit groups that assist small businesses to create the workshop that is likely to be scheduled in early February.
“We think we have an opportunity to provide information that can help,” said Dick Stumbo, who is spearheading the planning for SCORE. “Nobody has been through anything like this before.” Read more:
