USDA RURAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GRANT AVAILABLE
USDA Rural Development (RD) makes Rural Business Enterprise Grants (RBEG) to finance and facilitate development of small and emerging private business enterprises in rural communities (50,000 or fewer population). Priority is given to applications for projects in the open country, rural communities, in towns of 25,000 and smaller and economically distressed communities.
Who is Eligible? 
Eligibility is limited to public bodies, private nonprofit corporations and federally recognized Indian Tribal groups.
How may funds be used?
Funds may be used to facilitate the development of small and emerging private business enterprises. Costs may include but not limited to business planning, feasibility analysis, acquisition, development of land and technical assistance. Grant funds do not go directly to the small and emerging business. Grants may also be used to establish a revolving loan fund.
