RENO PUBLIC MARKET IS A FOOD HALL. PLEASE ARRIVE BY 11:30 TO CHECK IN, RECEIVE YOUR FOOD VOUCHER, SELECT YOUR FOOD, AND BE UPSTAIRS ON THE MEZZANINE BY NOON.

There are new reporting requirements under the federal Corporate Transparency Act (the "CTA") in 2024. Starting on January 1, 2024, the CTA is requiring every "reporting company" to file with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ("FinCEN") a beneficial ownership information report containing information about the company as well as its key owners and decision makers.

Attend this presentation and you will learn more about what constitutes a "reporting company", when you report filing may be due, and when updated or corrected reports must be filed. There are substantial civil and criminal penalties involved for failing to comply, so be sure not to miss this presentation.

During the presentation, David will discuss:

  • What is a "reporting company"?

  • When do I have to file?

  • What information do I have to include in my entity's CTA Report?

  • What happens if I fail to timely file?
