Every person knows we need other people to be successful in life and in business but not everyone feels comfortable making the right connections. Different personalities can network in different ways. From the wall flower to the great attractor, our differences can have the potential to make all of us influential networkers.

Networking is the act of meeting new people in a business or social context. Networking is also about developing strong connections and relationships with others and expanding your circle of influence. The way we present ourselves and our ideas can have a big impact on how people remember us and how we can help others be successful. This presentation will introduce you to modern network theory and provide real world examples on ways to build a wider and stronger network for success.

During the presentation, Dr. Felts will discuss:

  • How to put modern network theory to practice.

  • Ways to look at ourselves and use what we learn to expand our networks.

  • Proven practical networking approaches that work for almost everyone.

  • How to follow up and how to touch members of our network, and.

  • Where to network both on and offline.
