The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) recently released its 2021 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognized organizations, with Renown Health listed as a certified Acute Level – 7 and Ambulatory Level – 7 hospital network.

The CHIME Digital Health Most Wired program conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively healthcare organizations apply technology, according to an Oct. 26 press release from Renown Health, which was the only healthcare system in Nevada to make this year’s list.

“We are proud of our national reputation as an innovator in implementing new technology and systems of care to improve the health of our patients and the community,” Renown Health President and CEO Tony Slonim said in a statement. “With our incredible IT team and partners, we are transforming care and demonstrating value in a way that appeals to patients and helps clinicians improve outcomes and reduce costs.”

In a recent podcast from The Journal. — a co-production from Gimlet Media and The Wall Street Journal — Slonim spoke of Renown’s recent technological advances, highlighted by the new Renown Transfer and Operations Center that opened in August in South Reno.
