The world and the way we work are changing. In the era of remote work, many of us are now able to work on our own schedules. How do we ensure that we are being productive? How do we create an environment where we can thrive? Where we can be happy, healthy and productive?

One solution might be simpler than you think! Add the arts! Hang a painting, turn on Beethoven, or spend time doodling on your to do list. Studies show that productivity increases 15% in an arts filled workplace. Engaging with art encourages creativity, collaboration, and connection. Whether you’re working in an office or remotely – your environment has a huge impact on your ability to be productive. “Humans like to gather where they feel good. And they feel good where it’s beautiful. So, that’s where art comes in.” – Dana Crawford, President of Urban Neighborhoods Inc. There is a laundry list of benefits from engaging with the arts on a regular basis, in this presentation we will explore some of the key ways the arts can help you become more productive, happier, and even live longer!

During the presentation, Evelyn will discuss:

  • How the arts make us more productive

  • The value arts and culture missions bring to you and the community

  • How the arts affect our brains

  • Easy ways to add art into your day

  • What the Reno Phil does to support the community and how you can support the arts
